Reconnect, Don’t Disconnect

Do you have some clients that you haven’t connected with lately?  Perhaps you are afraid that it has been 6, 7 or even 8 months since you have last worked with these customers.

Here is an easy way to get your foot back in the door, don’t write them off yet!   You can still reach out and rekindle this relationship.

Remembering that you have a 60-70% probability of selling to an existing customer – compare this to the 5-20% probability of selling to a prospect (source: Marketing Metrics).  You are leaving money on the table if you don’t follow-up with these past customers.

Start by utilizing one of our templates on Fiitfu!  There is one presently in your account under FIITFU TEMPLATES called “Sharpen My Edges”

Copy this email template over, and personalize it.  Send this to your customers that you have not had contact with in the last 6+ months!

I recommend that you also create a FORM on Fiitfu and add the link to your personalized Message Template.  When your customers fill out the Fiitfu Form, their updated information will populate your Fiitfu account.  PLUS, you can learn what your customers are now interested in!  Here is a training video on Fiitfu FORMS and how to use them.

Once you send the Group Message with your Form link attached, be sure to make a note to follow-up with them in the next week.   For those that have filled out your Form, or responded to your email, you will know how to correspond with them based on their response to you.  For those that don’t respond, give them a call with a simple script like this one to help you get started:

” Hi {name}, I wanted to follow-up on the email I sent last week.  It has been over 6 months since we spoke, and I wanted to apologize for my delay.  If you will allow me to, I would like to offer you much better follow-up and customer service!  I have a new catalogue, and some samples, may I send these to you?”

From here, be sure to update your customers’ information in your Fiitfu account and answer any questions that they may have.  Check the Journal on their Contact Profile to see your recent conversations and their Order History what they have purchased.  Make notes in their account and be ready to stay connected this year!   Remember to grab their Birth Date so you can reach out naturally in that month as well.  Read more about connecting on Birthdays!
