What Entrepreneurs Are Paid For - Day 192

I know that our Fiitfu clients and supports would appreciate this... enjoy.

“Entrepreneurs are paid for their vision, courage and stamina. They are paid for being willing to do what others would not do. They are paid for staring down fear, ignoring fatigue, fighting loneliness, pushing through discouragement and walking by faith.
They are paid for putting their dreams, lives and security on the line. And only those who have been there understand that being an entrepreneur is a high wire act without a safety net. They are modern day heroes who deserve everything that comes their way!”

Individuality, is it that important? – Day 193

Be Myself

Being individual is not only important, it is imperative... I have witnessed people that I have known change their personality based on who they are with, I realize they are trying to be something they are not... which then makes it hard to respect them as they try to be someone different then I know them as!  That is a mouthful but I bet you know what I mean.

Black Shitake Seared Ahi Tuna - Day 195

So by now you have probably figured out that I am a bit of a foodie!  Good food always helps make a party memorable and this past weekend was no exception!

My girlfriend Anne was celebrating her 50th Birthday and an amazing celebration was put together to celebrate her! Imagine 50 people dancing to a live band on the waters edge in beautiful British Columbia, the scene was incredible, the friends were fun and the food was amazing!
I wanted to contribute to the appetizers so I did a seared Albacore Tuna Loin, and it was a combination of a couple of recipes so I thought I would share it with you, and in doing so it helps me to remember what I did to do it again down the road! Enjoy!

Celebrate! You deserve it - Day 198

OprahWinfrey

Regardless of where you are in your business and life, it is important to celebrate your successes regardless of how small or large they may be.  In the endless pursuit for the BIG dreams, sometimes we forget to celebrate the accomplishments that take us to the ultimate goal.

In Life or Business, Celebrating is so important, and as our friend Chrissi says “We live such an amazing life, and why not celebrate? We have so much to be grateful for”

Lose the Clutter Clear the Mind - Day 199

Beautiful

Time to start the day or week off fresh!  Take some time today to clear your desk, wipe it down and organize your files!  The less clutter you have on your desk and in your office the more focused you will be with your work. Clutter does create stress and slows down progress.

Gâteau au Yaourt - No Measuring Cup Required - Day 200

Sunday night our French Connection, Marine Caro, made for us a Yogurt Cake. It was delicious and she didn’t even need a measuring cup. It was as easy as 1, 2, 3...

YogurtCake

“An ideal recipe to start cooking, many parents pass on this recipe to their children. But with or without your children, it is still fun to prepare a yogurt cake.

Sa simplicité et son goût moelleux lui valent depuis toujours un franc succès auprès des petits et grands."

Don’t let your kind words go unheard - Day 201

Enjoy

Today is a sad day as my family morns the loss of my Auntie Barb, an amazing woman that helped to shape my childhood.  I remember all the good times we had together, how she always welcomed me and my brothers like we where her own children and how she had such a gentle way that was never harsh.

Happiness the Key to Life - Day 203

“When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.”
